Everything you need to know — how to vote, key dates, our policy positions, and how to protect your vote.

Election Day
August 9, 2027

Polls open 6am – 5pm. Bring your National ID or Passport. Check your polling station on the IEBC portal or SMS your ID to 70000.

1

Check Your Registration

Confirm you are registered at your polling station. Visit the IEBC portal or SMS your ID number to 70000 to check your registration status.

2

Know Your Polling Station

Find out which polling station you are assigned to. This is printed on your voter's card or available on the IEBC website.

3

Bring Your ID

Carry your original National ID or valid Kenyan Passport. No ID, no vote. Keep it safe on election day.

4

Arrive Early

Polls open at 6:00 AM and close at 5:00 PM. Arrive early to avoid long queues. If you are in the queue before 5 PM you are allowed to vote.

5

Mark Your Ballot Correctly

Use the official stamp provided. Mark clearly inside the box next to your chosen candidate. Spoilt ballots are not counted.

6

Protect Your Vote

Your vote is secret. No one can tell how you voted. Do not sell your vote — it is your most powerful right as a citizen.

Know what you are voting for. Here are the key issues and our concrete plans.
